Environmental Education Activities
There are so many great resources for hands-on and interactive activities that truly increase a student's understanding of a topic and move that topic from concept to reality where the student sees how it applies to their every day lives in the "real world" beyond the classroom.
As many activities can be used for a wide range of age groups and learning levels as adjusted by the instructor, we have listed these activities into topics with descriptions.
Listed on the next page are environmental education training programs, books and websites that we have found extremely useful over the years in regard to teaching with activities. We support the philosophy of "No Child Left Inside" and hope that these activities will help reduce and eliminate any traces of "nature deficit disorder" in your children or students.
As always, your contributions of more environmental education activities that you have created or developed in past years are encouraged and much appreciated as additions to this site.
