As demand for water expands, supplies are decreasing. Overpopulation and pollution are all contributing to the water crisis but so are water waste and overuse.
Although this is a global problem, each one of us can do our part to preserve this valuable natural resource by minimizing our water usage throughout the day.
It may appear that we have limitless fresh water supplies in the Great Lakes since we have 20% of the world’s fresh water surrounding us. However, implementing Michigan water conservation will ensure we continue to have ample supplies for our children.
