Environmental Stewardship
Environmental stewardship is a fancy way to describe the responsibility you have for taking care of the environment and the planet to ensure your safety and the safety of future generations. The choices that you make today may continue to have an affect tomorrow, next week, next year, and into the future.
Everyone must play a part.
The act of taking care of the environment and all of its resources so that we may enjoy it in the future is an important part of environmental stewardship. Our planet has limited supplies of natural resources such as water and clean air that we need to be careful not to use up or damage, so it is important to make environmental stewardship part of the way we live each and every day.
No one person can protect the environment. But environmental stewardship can begin with you! What you do, combined with the actions others take to reduce impacts or protect the environment, all add up!
